Biography

Du Taichao was born in March 1968 in Nanchong, Sichuan. In 1991, he graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine, Third Military Medical University, Beijing, with a master's degree. He practiced general surgery for three years and has since worked continuously in aesthetic surgery at Beijing Huangsi Aesthetic Surgery Hospital. Through systematic basic clinical training in general surgery and comprehensive accumulation of experience in aesthetic procedures throughout the body, he can skillfully and ingeniously perform various aesthetic procedures across the body. In the course of long-term experience accumulation, he has continuously summarized and refined his practice, and has developed a distinctive aesthetic surgical style and surgical outcomes. He has performed more than 10,000 aesthetic surgeries for aesthetic patients at home and abroad. The relentless pursuit of perfection in the aesthetic surgical process and the natural beauty and harmonious beauty of aesthetic surgical outcomes are the ideal I pursue throughout my life.

Personal Statement
During nearly 20 years of medical practice, I have unremittingly explored the broad field of aesthetic surgery, hoping to closely combine my continuously enriched academic training with clinical experience accumulated over many years to meet the ever-increasing aesthetic needs of aesthetic patients. Through years of effort, I have developed a distinctive style of aesthetic surgery. Whenever I see one aesthetic patient after another leave satisfied after surgery and regain beauty and confidence, this is the greatest reward for me; at such times, I often feel heartfelt pride and gratification.
My profession requires continuous improvement and innovation. In this challenging process, it constantly stimulates my potential and wisdom. I deeply appreciate the joy brought by successful surgery and benefiting others. Therefore, I deeply love my profession and am willing to strive unremittingly for it. I hope that through continuous efforts, I can establish a doctor-patient platform readily accepted by the general public to better serve aesthetic patients.
Through nearly 20 years of continuous accumulation and summarization, although a mature and effective aesthetic surgery system has been established, the pursuit of medical science is endless, and continuous learning and exploration are still needed to gradually establish an academic position as a well-known young and middle-aged expert leading domestic surgical and conceptual innovation. When my surgical plans and clinical experience are praised by domestic peers at academic conferences time and again, my determination to innovate is further stimulated. In 2009, I was appointed as a special reviewer by authoritative journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in the United States. Their high recognition of my academic thinking and clinical experience makes me immensely proud as a Chinese aesthetic surgeon. Facing a considerable number of manuscripts from abroad every month, I maintain a consistently serious and rigorous style and strive to make constructive contributions in broader international fields and at new heights.
After years of work accumulation and grounding, I have gradually formed a working style characterized by "clear surgical thinking, concrete academic concepts, accessible surgical insights, and humanized working methods". To introduce my valuable accumulated experience to peers and beauty-loving individuals, I have continuously and systematically published academic works, humanities essays, and popular science books, and was invited by CCTV to film a television feature to meet needs at different levels. At present, I have accumulated rich clinical experience in facial rejuvenation, comprehensive rhinoplasty, and breast plastic surgery, and have become a nationally renowned young and middle-aged aesthetic surgery expert in these fields. I have been invited many times to national academic conferences and training courses for academic exchange and have received widespread acclaim.
These achievements could hardly have been made through my personal efforts alone. Here, I would like to express special thanks to the superior leaders who have strongly supported my work over the years; they created a platform and environment for me to exercise my abilities. I thank the many friends who have consulted and communicated with me; their support has given me the motivation to continuously improve and enhance my work. I am especially grateful to those friends who have undergone surgery performed by me; their trust has enabled my surgical skills to mature and improve continuously. I am particularly grateful to those friends who had surgery performed by me in the early years; their encouragement, trust, and tolerance enabled me to accumulate rich clinical experience and to continue growing and progressing in the field of aesthetic surgery.
Looking up at the starry sky, during the long night of trekking in the field of aesthetic surgery, the road ahead is long and arduous; I will search high and low!
